Silka: I shake my head but transform into a hawk and fly up scanning the area. All I see is forest and the city then a sharp pain floods my wing and I land before Sullen notices the pain I turn human hiding the wound from a hunters bullet in my arm "I can see anything...Im sorry"

Silika: I nod ignoring the pain as he puts pressure on my arm. I hug him back ignoring the sickly feeling of blood running down my arm.

Violet: I sighed heavily and rolled over. What was I going to do about the Protector Council now? How could I go on killing Mystics? My brother had one in our house. They apparently saved my life. My world was officially thrown upside down. I heaved myself out of bed and went over to my closet. I chose some fitted jeans with false jewels on the pockets and a black v-neck with silver false jewels that decorated the neckline, sleeve lines and bottom seam. I ran a brush through my hair until it runs smooth. Then I go into my master bathroom to finish up with make-up.

Jayden: My eyes flutter open and closed as I flow in and out of sleep. I knew I should get up but snuggling with Fuyumi was just so comfortable. I open my eyes yet again and realize that she's gone. I jump up with a start. Jeez I didn't realize I'd gotten that comfortable. I sigh and then slip on some new clothes for the day, jeans and a light blue t-shirt that fits me tight. I run my hand through my hair to smooth it out. When I look in the mirror its still messy, but in a controlled so of way that I liked. Then I head downstairs to find my girl.

Raylen: Breakfast with River was comfortable and fun. We chatted and gorged ourselves on the food that we'd made together in the kitchen previously. There was french toast and eggs, sausage and bacon, biscuits and gravy and lots and lots of fruit from River's garden. I was so glad I had ended up here, despite knowing little about my past I felt like this cottage, the time with River, all of it was a welcome break from whatever it was that I was used to.

River: It felt good to have someone to help in the kitchen, and to laugh and joke with while eating so much food I thought I would burst. I had been alone in the cottage for sometime and Raylen was a delight to be around. I felt very fortunate to have found her.

Fuyumi: I gasp as the glass I'm holding slips out of my hand and cuts across my palm. As the glass shatters I hold my injured hand "crap...."
